Doula Services

Maizee completed her doula certification (Perinatal Doula Professional) through Masters of Maternity in fall of 2023. Her profile can be found here. 

Disclaimer: Due to conflicts of interest such as the risk of a dual relationship, outlined in the NASW Code of Ethics, individuals who are doula clients of Maizee Devlin will not be able to receive mental health therapy services from MPower Mental Health LLC and mental health therapy clients will not be able to receive doula services from MPower Mental Health LLC at any point in the future.

Maizee has experience supporting mothers who have high risk pregnancies or families who are anticipating a NICU admission.

Doula Package

PRENATAL PERIOD

  • Free virtual consultation

  • Phone support throughout pregnancy

  • Two in-person prenatal visits lasting approx. 60-90 minutes each, to provide support, discuss birth preferences, and provide education and resources

LABOR & DELIVERY

  • 24/7 on call support starting at 37 weeks gestation

  • In-person support starting when active labor begins

  • 2 hours of immediate postpartum support post-delivery

POSTPARTUM

  • One postpartum visit, 1-2 weeks following birth, to provide parent check-in and support, lactation support, newborn care support, and any referrals to alternate providers or resources if needed
